Little Red Riding Hood

Hello,
This week we have been continuing our fairy tale theme with another story with a big bad wolf- Little Red Riding Hood. The class really enjoyed pretending to be the wolf and were quite quick to notice that the wolf in little Red riding hood behaved a bit differently to the wolf from the story of the 3 little pigs. It was very easy to tell that the pig's wolf was a mean wolf because he was loud and fierce but the other wolf was trying to be all nice and polite...That was a little confusing for some of the class so we talked about how some things that don't seem dangerous really can be and how important it is to listen to what our parents tell us.
The class had fun acting out the story ( the odd pig or two popped up in their own versions!)and we made a few props along the way...

We chose some fruit and vegetables to take to poor sick Grandma in her cottage in the forest.
