Final Dress Rehearsal

The final dress rehearsal for the KS1 Production went spectacularly today.  We look forward to seeing you at 2pm tomorrow!

Hour of Code

Today, our class cleverly worked their way through a programming game that started them thinking about how to use code to program.

I was very impressed with how well everyone did!

Getting ready for Christmas

Today, we have been making decorations for the classroom and running through the KS1 Production before the Dress Rehearsal tomorrow.

English	We have talked about our favourite books.	We will concentrate on listening to stories.
Maths	We have investigated using apparatus.	We will consolidates ome of the things we have learnt so far.
Topic	We finished our large hand puppets and made Christmas puppets.	We will use our puppets to make up shows with the Reception children.
PSHE	We have been singing confidently.	We will be performing like stars.
Optional Homework	Teach your mummies and daddies the songs in our production and see if they can sing along!
Notices and Events	Again, thank you for the fantastic costumes! Homework will be given out on Monday and is due in on Friday. Y1 Weekly Update: Monday 21st November  - Friday 25th November

English	Y1C completed a writing assessment.  They all did brilliantly!	We will be talking about our favourite books.
Maths	Similarly, we completed maths assessments.	We will start investigating.
Topic	We made finger puppets and started to make large hand puppets.	We will finish our large hand puppets and start to put on shows.
PSHE	We spoke in front of each other with confidence.	We will be singing confidently.
Optional Homework	Make a sock puppet!
Notices and Events	The costumes you have provided are brilliant.  Thank you. Please be aware that, as per the school policy, if a child cannot swim, they will need a doctor’s note. No swim = no play: If a child cannot swim, they will not be able to play.   Homework will be given out on Monday and is due in on Friday.
