Hawaii and CNY

We have been having a very fun and eventful week in Kindergarten. The children having learning all about, 'Hawaii.' They have been fantastic listeners and even learned a super long Hawaiian word for a famous fish in Hawaii, 'humuhumunukunukuapua'a! Everyone has practiced saying this word and I'm happy to say they are able to say it correctly! Take a look at the beautiful fish they painted as well as some other Hawaiian fun activities.

We also celebrated Chinese New Year this week and everyone looked amazing in their Chinese dress up. Take a look at some of the pictures throughout the day. Dont forget 20th Feb is our Luau party Friday from 2.00 pm until 3. There will be food, fun and activities as well as a fun photo booth to take some pictures with your children!

Happy Chinese New Year

Let's fly an airplane

Last week in our maths lesson we decided to make paper airplanes and fly them outside to talk about different measurements. How far? Who threw a longer distance and who threw a shorter distance. The kids also had a great time listening to a number and then throwing their airplane towards the number called out. Take a look at some of the math fun we had outside!
