BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

We always seem to be so busy in RJ! It never stops and the kids are so creative and are always engaged and exploring.
Here are some pictures of our previous week's learning to give you an idea of what we have been up to. We continue with out theme of feelings and emotions alongside some wonderful child initiated learning.

Bored!
Silly!
Angry!
Silly!
Happy!
Scared!
Scared!
Surprised!
In the pictures above we were practising showing different emotions and feelings. We talked about sleepy and then the kids said they missed their nap-time from KG!

Some of the children independently practiced writing their names on the board. The home-learning that you have done is starting to pay-off!

Over the weekend, some new toys arrived in school from the UK. The kids had a great time exploring their new toys...they even used the boxes to make other things!

Grandae spent a long time at the Maths table exploring the new equipment. She enjoyed making repeating shape patterns.
The new fire engine and fire station was a hit with all the kids.
Meleah gives the role play area a little clean!
The kids were desperate to play with the new fire station and they couldn't understand why they had to wait for Miss Carly to assemble it!
Ok, so once the fire station was assembled, the box became more interesting!
