Love Week

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a good long weekend.
We celebrated our "Love week" last week with lots of beautiful crafts and activities based on the themes of sharing, friendship and kindness. The class were all very eager to talk about who they loved (there is a whole lotta love happening in this class!) but it was a bit harder to express some of the ways we show someone we love them. Hugging and kissing were the most popular answers but there were some really cute and surprising comments when we asked Nursery what they do to show mum, dad, friends that they love them? some comments included..."help mummy wash the car" "let mummy buy me icecream" "take them shopping". "share my toys" and "watch the fish together"!
We really enjoyed hunting for hearts in the playground  and Nursery were brilliant at choosing which coloured line to stick them onto to create a wonderful rainbow of love. Beautiful!

We also did some fun heart stamping crafts and made paper hugs. I hope everyone received valentines day cards made with loving hands and hearts.

Please don't forget that this Friday is International Day and our class theme is Japan. So, get your Kimonos on, bring your chopsticks (and a snack!) and join us!

  - Sorry It's a bit of a short post as I have been off with the lurgy and I think Mr Ben had his hands too full to be taking many pictures!
