Happy Halloween!

Hello Parents,

A big welcome to Poom who joined us in Nursery last week. It was a bit of a tough time for him last week but the class are trying hard to make him feel welcome and hopefully we'll be seeing more of his gorgeous smile this week!

Speaking of smiles...Thank you to everyone who brought in snacks for Halloween! We had a slightly shakey start (well, there were a lot of creepy costumes on show) but once we had all sussed each other out we had a blast! The class especially enjoyed trick or treating with their fab black cat bags- going to visit the other children in their classroom was great fun and getting all that candy was almost too much excitement!
We also had bit of a dance to some spooky songs, made our own Oreo mummy pops and attempted to eat  as much sweet stuff as possible at our Halloween party!

It's really lovely to see the class interacting more and more with each other and I'm starting to see the beginnings of friendships in the group. In the next couple of weeks we will be spending more time talking about how to be a good friend, sharing, using kind words and gentle hands, etc. so if you have any related books, games or activities to share please bring them in...

Here are some of this weeks pics, enjoy!
