Weekly review and preview

Y1 Weekly Update: Monday 6th March- Friday 10th March

 

	This Week	Next week
English	We enjoyed reading ‘The Lion and the Mouse’ and ‘The Farmer’s Son’s’.	We will write our own fables.
Maths	We used pictures and objects to multiply.	We will read clocks to the nearest half hour, finding quarters of shapes and solving simple word problems.
Topic	We created brilliant maps of our classroom.	We will be ‘sorting out’ manmade and natural things spotted in our local environments.
PSHE	We talked about what makes a good person.	We will discuss working hard even if things are tricky.
Optional Homework	Draw a bird’s eye view map of a room in your house.
Notices and Events	If you have any more photos of your local environment, please send them in. Homework will be given out on Monday and is due in on Friday.
