Y1 Weekly Update: Monday 20th March- Friday 24th March

 

	The first week of Term Three
English	We will be writing poetry.
Maths	We are revising the number bonds to ten.
Topic	We are beginning our new Inquiry topic, ‘Plants sustain life on Earth and play a role in our lives’.
PSHE	We will be reflecting on the holiday we have just enjoyed.
Optional Homework	As part of our new Inquiry unit, please bring in plants/leaves/flowers or photos of these from home.
Notices and Events	Our school trip a success and I was very proud of how each child Homework will be given out on Monday and is due in on Friday. Mr Renie’s weekly newsletter is posted on  http://ascoteypynews.blogspot.com/ . You are still welcome to come and chat to me about your child on Mondays between 3.10pm and 4.00pm.
