Learning and exploring about my senses.

Last week the children continued to focus on their senses. We went on a sound walk and listened carefully to what we could hear around the school. They looked closely at the different artwork they could see and what colours, shapes and numbers they could find. In class the children were able to join in with a colour experiment which allowed them to really use their sense of sight and talk about the colours they could see and how they could change when mixed together. Take a look at some of the pictures from our Senses topic.

After our walk the kids enjoyed the beautiful outdoors and began drawing pictures of things they saw in and out of school.

This week the children will be learning a new topic, 'We're going on a bear hunt.'
Here is a link to the story where they can tell you about what is happening, sounds they hear, things they see and how it makes them feel.
