More Jungle Adventures

Hello everyone,

We've had another very short week but don't worry Nursery still have lots of pictures we want to share with you!
Continuing our rain forest adventures this week we have been walking in the jungle and learning about tropical birds like the scarlet macaw and toucans as well as zebras and chimpanzees. We practiced our mark making skills making a giant map of the jungle and had lots of fun adding paper and 3D animals to bring it to life.... and we finally got to use the pool again! :)

If anyone has any jungle themed books, toys or pictures to share with the class we'd love to see them. The children always feel so proud to show their things to the rest of the group and it really helps build their confidence.

We used  marbles, some black paint and strong arms to make our zig-zag zebra stripes.

Carefully adding a mane and legs with markers.

Chattering chimpanzees....

and a gorilla!

Nursery loved drawing and sticking things to their map and making up some crazy animal adventures...

 Beautiful toucans

 and gorgeous macaws!

                                    Splish, splash!
