Just in! Neasha's favourite songs!

Neasha's dad sent me a link to 2 songs that Neahsa loves to listen and dance along to at home. I thought I would share them with you as we will sing them in school next week.
Please feel free to send links to your kid's favourite songs and I will upload them here.

Home Learning - 10.11.15

It is very important that we encourage children to be as independent as possible from a very early age. Children naturally enjoy taking on responsibility as it helps them to work out who they are, what their interests are, and it allows them to explore their environment in a way that is different from 'play'.

For Home learning this week I would like you to give your child an area of responsibility in the house. This could be tidying the dishes after a meal. It could be feeding the pets. Or it could be setting the table for a meal.
I grantee your child will love doing any job that you ask them to do...especially if you take their photo!

Please send me some pictures so I can share them on the Blog.

Here's Panboon carrying out her chores at home.

Class activities 10.11.15

Today we tried something new in RJ. The children set the snack table all by themselves. They were incredibly independent and were able to do it all entirely by themselves. I was very impressed!
Children should always be encouraged to do such jobs for themselves as it encourages a huge sense of responsibility.

What cleaver kids they are!

We are going to make this part of our daily routine now, and children from RP and RJ will take it in turns to set up the snack tables.
