Y1 Weekly Update: Monday 5th June - Friday 9th June

English	We have finished writing excellent mystery stories.	We will be recapping work completed over the year.
Maths	We have practised telling the time.	We will be investigating mathematically.
Topic	We sorted jobs into different groups.	We will think about what responsibilities are involved in different jobs.
PSHE	We have discussed our hopes.	We will make targets for year two.
Optional Homework	Take part in Ascot’s Art Competition and make a super poster!  Make sure you bring it in!
Notices and Events	Homework will be given out on Monday and is due in on Friday. Mr Renie’s weekly newsletter is posted on  http://ascoteypynews.blogspot.com/ . You are still welcome to come and chat to me about your child on Mondays between 3.10pm and 4.00pm.   Miss Yell is still helping in our class this term in order to provide more individualised attention to each child.
