Siam Ocean World

Yesterday was Kindergarten's first excursion outside of school and all the children were very excited! Everyone loved looking at the different sea creatures and watching the penguin and mermaid show. I am proud of the children as they all picked a partner and made sure to stick together. It was a fantastic day out and they are all still talking about it. Take a look at some of the pictures from our day out.

More weather!

Last week we continued with our weather theme. The children had a great time making their own kites and taking them outside to see how high they could fly them. They found that certain parts of the grassy area were more windy then other areas and this allowed them to fly their kite up high. We also talked about colours of the rainbows and when we see a rainbow. Everyone did a great job at joining in with our game, 'Over and under the rainbow.' They each had to think carefully about whether they should step over and go under without touching the rainbow colours. Take a look at all the fun we had.
Let's fly a kite!

Time to go through the rainbow!

This week as we are learning all under the sea here is a fun song for your kids to sing along to and point out what they see.

Here is a bubble popping game for the kids.

Please dont forget about our excursion to Siam Ocean World 24th March 2015

All about weather

Last week we started a new topic, 'Weather.' We have been reading the story, 'A little cloud.' We have been talking about how clouds form and when we look up into the sky what kind of clouds do we see, rain clouds, big fluffy clouds or light flat clouds. The children have enjoyed joining in with different activities such as showing how rain drops fall down from the clouds to what objects or shapes might we see when we look at the clouds. Here are some of the weather activities they have joined in with.
