Hello Nursery parents,

We've had a "wheely" fun time in Nursery this week. We found so many different ways to travel and went on lots of adventures. The class class get really excited when we play "magic bag" and this time we found lots of things that could carry us across the sky, land and sea. 

   

We looked at the different ways vehicles move across the land and made some beautiful name trains to decorate the classroom.

 

To explore water transport we investigated which classroom objects float and which ones sink. Then we decided to see how many bears we could fit into a boat before it sank or overflowed...the answer was LOTS!!!

We made our own sparkly sea water and had fun mixing the different layers and watching them settle.

 We played a great game of "what's that sound?"

And then added our favourite vehicles to a giant map!

Our glittery license  plates were a big hit

And the class had a fab time racing marbles across the paper to decorate their hot air balloons. Aren't they gorgeous!
  
And finally we took a trip to the airport to have a go at being pilots for the day...
