Welcome to term 2! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday.
To start term 2, out topic will be Handa's Surprise. This is a story about fruit and animals from Africa. Handa gathers fruit for her friend, Akayo, but the naughty animals steal the fruit from her basket.

It would be helpful for children to make fruit salad at home. This will help with naming fruits, tasting fruits, and it will increase independent skills. Please take some pictures so we can put them on the blog.
You could also bring some fruit salad to school so we can all have a taste!
