The very Hungry Caterpillar!

Last week we started a new book, 'The very Hungry Caterpillar.' The children have taken a real interest in learning about the life cycle of the butterfly. We even welcomed a new friend to our class a real caterpillar. The children have been watching the caterpillar and checking on him everyday to make sure he has been eating and to see if he has gotten any bigger. Everyone has been enjoying making different caterpillars using paint shapes blocks, paper, play dough and even their toes! Take a look at some of the fun activities we have done throughout the week.

Here is a link to the story online for your children to follow along too. Don't forget to ask them to sing our special, 'tiny caterpillar song.'
