Hello everyone.
It's been a bit of a short week but we have managed to squeeze lots in!
We have had a great week exploring the jungle habitat and discovering some of the creatures that live there. Nursery enjoy playing safari and "spotting " all the wild animals and pretending to feed them. We have been roaring like lions, prowling like leopards and slithering like snakes, our class also does the best impression of chattering chimpanzees!
We also found a baby gecko wandering around the classroom and made a mini terrarium for it before releasing it back into the wild. The class were also excited by a praying mantis we discovered hiding under one of the leaves but we put that one out fairly quickly for its own safety!
Tracing letter 'S' for our snakes
Learning about some more jungle dwellers before making our own forest collages
Fingerprint giraffes
Making colourful macaw wings
Real life wildlife!
Outdoor fun.
